SHANGHAI — Furniture China 2023 and Maison Shanghai 2023, set for Sept. 11-15 in Shanghai, will be themed “In Now” to reflect the rise of the Gen Z shoppers as new consumers with diverse living propositions.

The event, hosted by Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., is expected to draw more than 200,000 professional buyers from 160 countries and cover an exhibition area of 300,000 square meters.

Furniture China and Maison Shanghai will feature original design, high-end customization, green intelligence, future office, boutique outdoor, healthy sleep, innovative materials, artistic soft decoration and creative lighting.

Design is a key component of the event. The Gold Idea Furniture Design Award will make a comeback this year, and the Design of Designers hall will feature multidimensional design innovations. In addition, this year’s event will feature the Genie Award, an aesthetics space design competition.

Other features at the Shanghai show include special office environment exhibitions and the Golden Axe Award for innovation in materials in home furnishings.

Furniture China 2023 and Maison Shanghai 2023 combine online and offline platforms, providing digital services such as customer acquisition, e-commerce development and digital marketing.
